Canada’s bilingualism

If you are familiar with Level A French in Canadian elementary or high school, you are in the right picture of Canada’s bilingualism when foreigners come over for post-secondary studies or Canadian immigration.

There may be teachers from Quebec who teach French at your school, and there may be other teachers who are legit from France, often teach in post-secondary because there’s composition assignments, conversation labs, using the accent and get the credential! If you major in French!

But don’t just rely on what’s been taught in high school because oftentimes your teachers are not so dedicated. Because then all you’re thinking about is travelling to Paris to take pictures of yourself sitting down having a wine by the Eiffel Tower in the future. There is a lot more than that.

I am uncovering there are dimensions of culture and tourist navigations that make France fulfilling. Linguistics as well. Different provinces in Canada, in particular, vary instruction, such as Quebecois French and the Acadian French.

In France, it may depend on its provinces if it’s not Parisien.

Having French proficiency in the Canadian job market will make you stand out.

80% of Canadian employers will consider hiring you.

This is in Canada, though if you have learned French in a different country like Belgium or US it is recommended to take the TEF for longer residency.

I have competency in French from Early French Immersion in Western Canada continued on, still mastering it.

I am passionate about it and I used to have an Instagram to teach French, though I changed it from educational platform to media platform.

This is an inclusivity statement where I include the Vietnamese-French, the Quebecois French, the Swiss-French, the local Francais, Belgique French, and the Southern French where we appreciate our cultural similarities from dark chocolates to high mountains of the French Alps to French fashion.
